Any color but beige would work for you. I think beige would wash you out.
What color tops would you wear the blazer with? And in which circumstances? Black sounds like the most versatile option - it will take you anywhere, from casual to more formal occasions, depending on the rest of the outfit.
Red *is* a neutral as MaryK says and sounds like it would fit with your existing wardrobe nicely, but I'm only reserved because it is very vibrant... I'm thinking a job interview or something else very formal, where conservative options are safer.
Having said all this, it also occurred to me that red might actually be better choice for YOU simply because it's warm and you might need some "wardrobe mood enhancers" in your first Norwegian winter... just a thought.
