Plaid ponte pants

Hi! First post in the forum! Last year I got the Kut from the Kloth Plaid Skinny Ponte Pants and I LOVED them! But the plaid wore off at the knees and the rear. Did other people have this issue, or was this an anomaly? I am thinking of buying another pair, and wondered what others' experience have been.

Hi Ellen, welcome! Did you buy them at Nordstrom? If so, I'd be inclined to go back to them and tell them; maybe they would give you a deal on a replacement or something ... I have not shopped there but hear their customer service is good, and that sounds like bad form for a not-cheap pair of pants from a good brand.

Ditto torontogirl! Nordstrom's has really good customer service. Even if they don't refund you at this point, at least they should know that it was an issue.

I had the same problem - after 15 wears, the pattern had completely worn off the knees and the butt. I returned them to Nordstrom and they gave me a full credit. I was hoping it was not a widespread problem, since no one else mentioned it here on the forum - sorry to hear you had the same thing happen.

I also got them, and had no problems with them.

I do think it's worth mentioning... esp if they have them again, they may replace them for you.

I liked them so much I took a chance and ordered the checked version from this year’s sale. And I also found a woven (but still stretchy) version of the plaid ones last winter at Rack.

I also had this issue, but could camo it by wearing OTK boots and tunic. Hoping this year’s offering is more robust.

Just looked at the pair I bought last year and I do see a slight bit of wear on the seat--maybe I didn't wear them as often as some of you. They are very comfortable, but I don't need another pair this year.

Thanks, everyone! I did go ahead and order another pair-if these wear out, I will reach out to Nordstrom, but I'll hope for a more durable version this year!
