Pl advice on skirt styling

I got these pretty skirts and I would love some input on how to style them. I need suggestions on what tops and jacket styles would work with them.
I need to make them into great outfits and I am a bit stuck.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Both are lovely skirts. You could wear both booties and knee high boots plus a shortish fuzzy knit sweater. Also how about a peacoat style or moto jacket. For dressing up the leather skirt, how about this ensemble of Angies :http://youlookfab.com/2013/11/.....do-jacket/

Lovely skirts Joyce, and suggestions from Diane. Perhaps the visuals below with help with knitwear proportions. You need a welt to add structure to the volume, and a fluid fit on the torso.

Or wear a short tailored top, or tuck in a shirt.

Thank you very much Angie and Diane for taking the time to answer my question. You gave me great ideas, the cropped top is in my comfort zone and I also love the two fluid outfits from the pictures that you shared, so pretty and so comfortable looking.
I will look for fuzzy tops to match the leather skirt.
Tall black boots will probably be too much with the leather skirt, or do you think it may work?
