Pixie cut for fine hair and heart-shaped face?

I think you'll look great with that style!
You have the face shape and features to pull it off.
Just be aware that if your hair is very fine it may tend to lie flatter than the photo you've shown, unless you use a generous amount of hair styling products.

Cute! You will probably need some wax or texturising spray if you want your hair to hold and have the same kind of body as your model pic (is that Shannyn Sossamon?).

I think you would be able to carry off a pixie cut, but just be careful with the part that falls on your face on the forehead as you seem to have a larger forehead than the model. That and what Parsley mentioned about adding volume and texture and it would be perfect on you!

I think you definitely have the face to pull off a pixie cut but I'm not sure you can get this particular effect with very fine hair. Do you have a hairdresser you trust? They may be able to make suggestions for something similar that will work great with your hair type.

Have you worn your hair that short before? The reason I ask is because while my hair is fine, it sticks straight up when cut too short on top. Also, I find pixie cuts to be high maintenance, believe it or not. If I were you, I'd ask a very trusted hairdresser for advice before you get this cut. Make sure it will work with your hair. I learned the hard way! Hope this helps.

My hairdresser always suggests I find haircuts with my hair color because texture can be so different - I'm always picking blonde haircuts! If your hair is fine you may need a lot of product to get this effect.

I ADORE that haircut and have had it saved forever - if only I could look that good in a short cut!

Yes, definitely! I have a heart shaped face, and thick hair, and find that my hair is too thick for such a short haircut - I'm always having to thin it or look like a lion. I think it'll be terrific for you! (Oh, and like Ruth, mine sticks up on top when it's shorter than about 2.5 inches - but I use wax to make it lay down, and your proposed cut isn't nearly as short as 2.5 inches.)

That is a favorite cut of mine-- my stylist keeps telling me she could do it, but it always makes me nervous (I have fine, straight, dark hair).

Taking all your advice onboard, I believe i won't cut it pixie just yet. But get some sort of shorter bob.. like the pictures attached.

Mine is like the pics you just posted except a little more layered on the sides, and I'm really happy. The style works with my quirky hair and I don't have to fight with it to get it to look good.

I like all three pictures, but I think it's a good idea to go for a shorter bob first. I think you would look great with that style! And it is probably a lot easier to maintain. You can always go shorter later on if you want to.

I have a lot of highlights in my hair and love the look. I know I'd look dreadful as a blonde. My highlights are not blonde; they're just a little lighter than my natural brown color, so it looks natural. My advice to you is that unless you're willing to go gung ho, you might want to start out with highlights before deciding to go blonde. That's my 2 cents' worth, anyway.

If a person has thick hair the hairdresser will always thin it out to create this kind of cut. I would make an appointment with a really good cutter & ask them. I think it would work so well for you - very stylish.

You've got the perfect hair texture for a pixie, and I think your face shape will suit it too. Or a short bob. Fine blond hair often looks best in the shorter, sleeker styles.
