I recently went on a light pink kick. I used to love this color back in college (decades ago in the late 80's) then stopped wearing light pink and peach after an unfortunate encounter with an Immigration official at O'Hare in the early 90's. I had worn a light pink shirt for the passport photo I had at that time. The immigration guy looked at passport photo, then back at me, then back at the photo, and so on. He finally looked at me and said "It doesn't look like you're wearing anything in this photo." !!!!!!! So I was somewhat mortified and decided light pink and peach were not good colors to wear when you are pale like me.
This changed over the summer and I've bought a number of light pink items. They might wash me out, but heck, I'm old now and what the heck (as my kids would say).
