I am one of those who does love pink, and found myself looking over the pinks in my closet after the recent post. As a brunette (now liberally mixed with grey), I seem to have gravitated to the more vibrant and deep tones of pink. Here are some highlights:
1. The oldest, a sweater I bought over 30 years ago at a sample sale in NYC from TSE cashmere, this at least 8-ply cashmere sweater is ridiculously warm, and still going strong! Needs a good de-pilling, but now that I am mostly in Florida, I just have it in a drawer…
2. Also over 30 years old, the only motorcycle jacket I wore for years, bright pink! Made by my husband’s now defunct label. I never felt comfortable with a black moto, but this one is awesome!
3. Over 15 years old, J. Crew Tippi sweater, Neon pink. I loved it, but so did some moths…. Still can’t bring myself to toss it. I’m always intending to have it repaired and de-pilled.
4. Columbia Rain Jacket, also over 15 years old (If I like it, I keep it). I wore this yesterday for a long walk in the rain. Awesome jacket, keeps the rain out and cheerful to boot.
5. Silk Blouse by Lilly Pulitzer. Maybe 8-10 years? Wore it last week with black jeans and got tons of compliments.

I enjoy feeling feminine, and I love bright colors. I think I need MORE pink
