Playing catch-up after digging out from 16” of heavy, wet snow! I spent most of yesterday cozy inside, but did venture out in the evening once the precipitation tapered off.

I was pretty excited for this one, as my favorite cold-weather accessories are a LOTR-themed scarf and a bright red toque! I opted for a hobbit-y vibe — barrel trousers and wool vest, and pulled as many of the colors from the cover as possible. Showing both the indoor and outdoor versions, since the accessories are important!

Thank you Jenni! Yes, I ended up going for the tomato red/olive sac banane — it adds just the right pop! Really exciting to find that color combo with silver hardware rather than gold.

Haircut is now 3 months old (!!) — I’ve trimmed the bangs and sides and top layers a bit, should do even more, but I’ve been too busy. I’ve been using a stylist’s razor to cut it and the grow-out is very forgiving.
