Suntiger, I agree....fleecy, cozy pockets....a nice plus. I don’t think the hood will annoy me. The fur is pretty hefty and removable. If I need to I can take the trim off.
Smittie ,Toronto Girl, JAileen, Shevia and Glory thanks for the positive nod for the big hood. Living on the coast we get a lot of wind, so even when there is not rain or snow, I often want my head covered.
Thank you Brooklyn and Suz. I’m glad the fit looks ok and happy that the coat arrived before today’s round of wet weather.
UmmLima, yours is a good idea. I should put my purchases in Finds. I am not very good about doing that. I am glad you are prepared for the weather, but hope you won’t need to venture out in it.
Lynn, you are right, fitting properly in the shoulders and chest means I can layer up, move freely and have no trouble with tightness or discomfort.
Thank you Gretchen. Cream is definitely on my radar. Today will be a good test for the elements, but not the temps. The temps will be in the high 20s to high 30s. I am also considering a cream coat in wool.....a totally different look and it might be dressier, which would limit wear. So much to think about!
Jessiekams, I am really happy with the length! I do have a longer, heavier puffer and also a shorter puffer jacket. The jacket has no hood, so although lightweight and very warm, I find myself wishing it had a hood.
