#6 -- my new Converse. Oh no! I saw they are Made in China.(!) Are there any athletic shoes still made in the US?
#7 -- new orange-y bag from Macy's Tignanello. Leather, $33.
#8 -- WIW today, I'm covered in my sisters pets! Yellow Lab Mick's head is falling off the side of the bed.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE you in those coral skinnies Denise - they fit perfectly and I adore the colour...speaking of colour, I'm also loving the sweater on you. Not too many could pull of the length of the cardi and the width of the stripes, but you look fantastic in it!

Waves to happy YLF girls! I am so happy that you shared these shots with us. The converse are great, sorry to hear that they are not made in the USA. Can you make an exception? The skinnies are amazing, are they made in the USA? I love the little tig bag, that shape is one of my favorites. Of course the lounging out fur babies are so adorable.

I love the jeans on you. I can see these getting lots of play come spring. I like the cardi, too. As for the bag, I almost swooned. The shape of that and the colour and only $33???? Talk about a bargain!

Your sister's kitties and dog are adorable. And now that there is pet fur all over your purchases, there is no taking anything back.

I like the skinnies but am not as much a fan of the cardigan. The bag is great though - I know I would have never noticed it walking by in a store but you have a good eye.

Your new bag is gorgeous, I love the coral skinnies and the Converse too (I know you want to buy locally made products though). I love stripes, so the idea of the cardigan definitely appeals to me, but there's something about this one, I can't put my finger on it. Perhaps it's the hem that looks a little stretched? How did it look unbuttoned?

Love the coral skinnies!!!!! perfect with the gray cons. I'm not a huge fan of horizontal stripes, but you are so tiny you can get away with it. Fab bag, too!

Ahem, okay, back to the matter at hand: I really like both the skinnies and the sweater. One possible concern is that the sweater is pretty long. Do you wear long pants/skinnies in the summer? Or would you wear this sweater into winter? I can't remember what the weather is like in NorCal, so I may be completely off the mark.

Thanks all of the swooning over the pets, I am completely nuts about animals; when I stay with my sister I don't miss my own dogs/cats/horses/cows so much because I have company.

Regarding the Cons, I have come to the conclusion that there are some categories of attire that are almost all Made in China; I think it's due to the high quality of labor there! These categories are: sweaters, athletic shoes, lingerie. Also, many leather goods such as shoes and bags are made there, the alternative being Italian goods which I do own and purchase but they are so much more expensive. So, ladies, I am starting to accept that buying domestically is a goal, not an absolute.

The coral jeans ARE Made in USA. It is easy to find knit tops and jeans made here! (Yay)

The sweater is a size M, too big for my upper half, but still too tight around my thighs/hips. When life hands you a pear, don't wear stripes across your hips or thighs. Good thing I didn't buy it but I may go back and get the skinnies.
