So here it is so far. My potential Spring/Summer wardrobe. A few of these items are old, most are still with tags and can be returned. I have some plain tee's to add from last year, and a few extra pairs of white straight leg jeans. I don't wear cropped pants (My legs are proportionally short, which I think you can see in some of these pics). Please forgive the poor styling in most of these pics. I quickly tried things on and snapped the pics. No earrings or jewelry and the shoes are probably wrong. I would prefer heels with the skinny jeans, but they are mostly in storage. There are quite a few questions here, which I have highlighted so you can find them more easily.
1. Eileen Fisher print silk dress with mandarin collar over J Crew Maddie pants, and pearl white Birkenstock Florida shoes. I love all three pieces.
2. Same as above with DVF pink ballerina wrap sweater
3. Same as #1 with Eileen Fisher linen cocoon boatneck sweater in dewberry.
4. Same as #3 with my mint green linen scarf added
5. Hudson Mid Rise Nico Super Skinny Jean, and DVF Ballerina Sweater, Pink Pearl Gizeh Birkenstocks
6. J Crew Selvedge Toothpick Jeans, Equipment Sloane Banded Crew Neck Sweater (I am very unsure about the crew neck's. May be a good piece for layering?)
7. J Crew Maddie Pants, Equipment Sloane Banded Crew Neck Sweater
8. J Crew Straight leg Cafe Trousers (From last year), Equipment Crew
9. Eileen Fisher Project Organic Linen Sheer V-Neck Sweater over Dewberry silk camisole, tan skinny jeans from last summer, Anyi Lu Sandals
10. Detail of buttons on side of sweater in #10
11. WHBM White blazer, periwinkle camisole, Paige Denim Verdugo Super Skinny Jeans in Purple, Stuart Weitzman Cage Sandals
12. Eileen Fisher linen tank in Pearl Grey, Halogen Vest, tan skinny jeans, Anyi Lu Sandals (Maybe the vest is a bit large and needs some tailoring?)
13. J Crew Regent Blazer, J Crew Lookout High Rise Crop Jeans, WHBM pink blouse. I think this blazer may fit?? What do you think? Is it too long??
14. Another view of the blazer buttoned.
15. The WHBM blouse with tulip sleeves
16. WHBM fitted button down shirt. (Finn Comfort shoes) It was hard to capture in a photo, but this has an interesting stripe pattern. I have been wearing this already and I really like it.
17. Floral Blouse - What do you think of this? Very unsure? It looks good with my glasses doesn't it?
18. Equipment Silk floral blouse. I want to like this one, but am also unsure. What do you think??
19. The green floral blouse with the J Crew blazer.
20. Tory Burch Silk Dress. I keep debating on whether I love this or hate it. It's very linear and boxy, but it looks interesting when I move. The pleats at the bottom are a nice touch, and I like the split of the pattern at the top, which I tried to photograph in the next two pics. What do you think?
21. Detail of ruffle
22. Detail of top
23. J Crew stripe pencil skirt with lavender metalic sweater
24. J Crew Stripe Pencil skirt with Equipment floral silk top
25. J Crew Stripe Pencil skirt with J Crew floral silk top (This one is old, but it's one of my favorites)
26. J Crew Stripe Pencil skirt with DVF Ballerina Sweater
27. Equipment floral Silk top (I love this top. I think it's one of my favorite purchases)
28. J Crew cotton textured boxy sweater with white jeans. Think sandals
29. Tibi popover dress. I am a bit unsure of this, I think I like it, but this is definitely a new look for me. I love the pattern on the skirt. I love how loose and airy it feels. What do you think?
30. I took an old Maxi dress, which I like, but the top is too loose. I put the DVF wrap on. What do you think? Do the colors clash too much or does this work? Can I rescue this dress in this manner?
31. The Stella Carakasi skirt and vest
32. Athleta V Neck dress - very unsure if this is one I should keep or return?
33. Athleta tee dress - same as above. Worth keeping?
34. Sheath Dress I have already posted. Included because it is part of the S/S wardrobe, and because it is one of the better finds. Love it.
35. Lafayette Shirt dress. Seeing everything else above, does this dress still look like something I should keep, or should I return?
If you're still with me thanks! I know that was a lot to look at and there are a lot of pics! I'm almost completely overhauling my Spring/Summer wardrobe.
My style adjectives if you need them are: Soft, Calm, Fresh, Classic, Polished, and I am also looking to build towards Architectural and Ethereal (color).
