Picasso Challenge, young girl reading a book on the beach

I'm behind on posting and reading everyone's brilliant Picasso posts, since I'm sick, but decided to try today. I decided not to be literal to the colors of the painting and instead picked Spring beach colors remembered from many kayaking expeditions in my childhood. My five year old is the photographer again for the first photo. Some day I'll get a tripod and get sharp pictures.
I chose sea green and minty colors instead of blue and a necklace that reminds me of the colors of sea glass. I repeated the brown colors of the necklace in my sandals, which are the same color as my dad's hand made wooden kayak.Closeup of the sleeve is to show detail that reminds me of the special knots my dad taught me to tie.
Apologies for the wrinkles, forgot to take photos before getting busy for the day.
