The Naturalizer sling back shoes arrived today and of course I couldn’t wait to try them on. I ordered them in two sizes and was somewhat undecided about which fit best so I decided to snap some photos and compare them that way. I often do that when trying on clothes, and often when I look at the photos it becomes either a clear “yea” or “nay,” so I decided to try this technique with these shoes.

In this case, I think the pics show the 9’s are a bit too wide, maybe too big overall. I think the 8.5’s look pretty close to perfect. What do you think?

FYI- 9 is my usual size in regular width shoes, 8.5 is my usual size in narrow width shoes (these shoes are narrow width). This is the tan color and I’ve already ordered a second pair in gold.

I agree the 9 looks too big all over.

The 8.5 looks like a good fit. The strap across the top of the foot on both sizes does seem to be loose, though. Maybe that's not a big issue. I think Angie's might have looked that way, too.

Firecracker, it looks loose on the 8.5s but it’s not. I think it looks that way in the pics because of how the strap is attached to the top of the shoe. The strap on the 9s looks too loose and is too loose.

A nice way to figure out which fit works best. I find pictures very helpful to see the things I miss in person. The 8.5 look like a good fit. As long as they are comfortable, I say go for it!

The 8.5 looks good but the best test is walking down and up the stairs at home (if you have stairs at home), that will let you know if the functioning fit is good or not.
