I know some of you were interested in seeing some of my photographs from my trip to Cuba. I have been putting some up as I edit and process the images, so there are still more to come, but these links have some shots:

It was a truly remarkable experience. I didn't feel like I was doing my best photography ever, but now that i'm spending some time with the photos, I'm not unhappy with what I captured. I got to spend a lot of time out in the streets, looking at the sights and talking with people (I swear I will learn more Spanish before I return!). The Cuban people are so warm and generous -- it takes a little getting used to for this reserved North American!

Janet I need to get an intelligence from you how to travel in Cuba. Which areas have you been to? We were there once on the resort and did not like the experience but I have a feeling that I would love it much better as an independant traveller.
And I am learning Spanish now!

Janet, you are a gifted photographer. These show so much color and joy. I am fascinated by the old cars and especially the photos where buildings, etc are reflected in the shiny surface or chrome of a car.

ARRGH! I so wanna go! These photos are so great, Janet. You have such talent. Thank you for sharing. This just adds fuel to the fire, I really want to go NOW. I just saw the cover of Time that had an article talking about how Cuba is going to change once the Americans have free access to visit. It's just a matter of time. I really need to get myself there ASAP.
