Photo help needed

I make sure the photos are ready to add. Sometimes I use apps on my phone to make collage type photos or occasionally I expose them more.
I write my post on the PC (easier to type and format). I post it.

I quickly go to my phone (using Safari not the app) and edit the post. I then add the photos. It allows me to select them from my library.

I save the post.

I often go back into the post on the PC just to check it all looks okay.

I find this easier than writing the post on my phone.

I email them to myself (from my phone )- and then work off of my laptop where I can fix exposure, colour, and crop out the background.

I format my pics on my HUGE iphone 8. Then they are ready to go when I need to send them from my phone.

Format pics first (as Sal suggests)
Go to the YLF forum on your phone
Press "New" at the top of the menu bar (it's next to "Categories")
Fill in the text (topic and contents of your thread)
Press the square that says "Add Photo"
Press "Photo Library"
Press "Camera Roll"
Select the photos by clicking on them
Press "Done"
Press "Submit Post"

It's that easy.

If you PREFER to write forum threads from your laptop or desk top - you need to mail the pics to yourself as Lisap suggests. I do that too.

Barbara Diane, I just use the tools on my iphone to format my photos. I generally adjust brightness, exposure and colour saturation. Sometimes contrast. Indoor photos are so dark, it can help to reveal colours and detail. I generally crop them too. If you are using an iphone, select the photo, then select the "edit" button on the top right hand corner of the photo. The edit options reveal themselves at the bottom of the photo .

Thanks Brooklyn. I have successfully edited a photo now. It's sort of addictive. I used to do it by hand in scrapbooking, but this is so much quicker. I actually had clicked on the edit options before but did not understand what it was-what was this thing with an arc with degrees on it?-or how to do it - but since you let me know I was on the right track this time I went to youtube for a how to.
