Had to share this fab buy from yesterday. I had fallen in love with a pair of low heeled pointy toed flats by Franco Sarto in silver, but the only size I could find was 9 and I'm a 9.5.
I searched Sudbury while there on business, and Ottawa this past weekend while there for a run/race. Nada.
Back home, I'm cruising the Sears shoe department and find boxes upon boxes of low heeled leather shoe in nude, black, leopard, and pewter. It is the Jessica brand, which is usually so-so for quality. The top and lining are all leather, and the shoe is beautifully crafted. The heel has a shiny mirror finish. They fit my fussy (bunions) feet, and I wore them all day today with complete comfort. They are more almond toe than pointy, but pretty sophisticated looking for a flat.
They were on sale (50%) at $39.99.
