I really love the look of the pants with those diagonally crossed sandals - stylishly abstract & geometric! I know you feel self conscious about tucking in your tops, but I think I spy a belt in that photo, right? You don't have to tuck your top in all the way, but you could try 'resting' the front side of it behind the belt buckle (so you get some more structure to the look without exposing the whole midsection).
Another clever trick I learnt from Wardrobe Oxygen is to try knotting your tops - think Britney Spears/ cowboy, but less extreme/ midriff-bearing & more of a side knot. It will help to create some structure whilst still being flattering because of the ruched material & because you can adjust the height as you wish. Allie pulls it off well, but I'm not sure if I can link outside blogs here?
I like that whole outfit on you, but the cardigan is just a smidge too long to my eye. If you really don't want to expose more of your midsection, a long necklace may help to balance out the look instead. Especially with the wide style of the cropped pants, a statement necklace or scarf may help to balance things out. Just my two cents, though
And don't worry about the photo bombing - it's also a big reason why it's taken me almost a week to update my own post with actual outfit photos (not just quick snaps in the office lift on the way to work). I'm sure people here understand, lol!
