I agree about the 'holding steady' part. I just went through all the 'outfits' shots in the NAS sale section and was struck by everything being very nice, but no real changes in silhouette except for a few culottes and dramatic flares. Which is totally fine, just interesting to note.

Confession: I ordered that dress to try. The plaid spoke to me. I could see playing up a little rocker vibe with boots and leather jacket.

Yes, I'm glad that a lot of things I've purchased in the past couple of years are still "in". I was happy to see that vests are sticking around, since I have a soft spot (or maybe addiction) for them. Faux fur, extra long, leather, and more traditional vests were all in there.

I really like the dress. Very classy.

I am thrilled that fashion is holding steady. I have just reached a point in my wardrobe where I am happy with individual pieces and silhouettes. If things changed suddenly, I would really be torn for a loop.

My catalog came in the mail today. I see some mid calf boots and leather jackets, in addition to what I saw online, that interest me.
