any ideas on where to buy. ESTY is too confusing for me. I was at the mall yesterday and did not see any. I want to wear more gold so that is what I am looking for. Maybe it is just too early for a good selection yet.

Debbie, if you have a long chain, you might see if you have any broaches/pins that could work as pendants. I've also found some glass ones I like in the bead section of hobby shops. I've picked up flower pins at Macys that get used as pendants too.

Another piece of advice (unless you're already doing this, in which case never mind me): try to stock up in chains of different lengths (I have 16", 18", 22", and 24") so that you can wear your pendant at the best length for each outfit. This also can save some money because you can buy pendants without the chains.

I second the idea of F21 -- particularly if you're not sure you'll still want to be wearing them six months from now. Seriously, I've never bought any jewelry from there, and the prices make me think it must not last more than a season, but they do have a number of cool pendant necklaces at the moment.

I have several pendants from them, they're constructed better than the prices indicate and seem to be holding up just fine. I do store them in an armoire, and lightly polish out finger oils so I'm sure that helps.

My favorite place to go jewelry hunting is a little shop in my town carries tons of vintage/used/antique jewelry. Try googling antique used or vintage jewelry and the name of you town or a nearby city. You may find somewhere new that has all kinds of fun things.

DebbieK, do you have a Hanna D's or a Compass Trading Co or a Sam Moon? These are great places to get fun and trendy costume jewelry. Just be advised that they only do exchanges or store credit...no refunds.

I've gotten quite a few pieces from F21 and sometimes they've held up better than things i have from Anne Taylor or pricier stores! Which makes me kind of angry.... >.>

I'm going to try and go to an antique shop I know this weekend and see what she has. I love looking for jewelry in those kind of places.
Refugee is right you can find very unique pieces.
