Peep toe/socks?

Maybe I am totally off the deep end- I would have never considered pre-YLF. But then again, I've already tried so many things outside my zone in my short time here...

So, I have a pair of leopard peep-toe flats and a new pair of trousers that need flats. Sadly, still too cold for no-socks. I thought maybe black tights with the peep would read as another "spot". Can I get away with this? Any guidelines?

I don't mind the look of hose with peep toes. Did you try them is a fun color too? The intentional contrast can be interesting

I think as long as the tights are not opaque and you can see your toes it may work. It depends on how the colors match up with the shoe and with your skin tone.

I actually love the look for tights with peeptoes. So you could do an opaque knee high if you are wearing pants. Alison at wardrobeoxygen does this all the time and looks adorable!! Also Sally at alwayspretty wears colored tights with peeptoes. I don't love colored tights (princess does this come in black speaking) but she looks great in this!!

Maybe it is California thing but peep toes with hose sure looks odd to me. Like socks with sandals. But different strokes for different folks I guess.
