pedicure - anyone tried multi colors?

Just wondering if anyone has tried more than one color this year for a pedicure trend. I know lots of hands were showing an index or ring finger with a different color than the others. Thoughts?

I'm thinking maybe greige and a blush combo.

I like the idea! I have an appointment next week, and since nobody sees my toes in the winter, I think I'll try that. Great idea!

I might actually go wild and do deep red, greige, and blush. I love the "nobody sees my toes in the winter" anyway!

Well I've always been totally timid and conservative with makeup if any, and just recently resumed wearing nail polish once kids were all grown up (and because of hospital work, I only do my fingernails when I'm on holiday, so now having polish on makes me feel extra special)

But, even I, last Christmas, wore deep red nail polish (one with a bit of gold glimmer, so you couldn't really see it) and bronze on my ring fingers. I liked the effect.

Go for it!
I've been doing multi-colored toes for years (I'm 44). Since I love color, during the summer I usually do a rainbow - one color on all 10 toes. I've done shades of reds, greys (not as much fun), and I've done neons (FYI they reactive in black light).

I'd love to do it on my fingers too, but polish never lasts more than 2 days on my nails.

It's only nail polish and you can take it off if you don't like it.

thx, Jen, I'm almost 44 too and just did my 3 colors tonight. I figured, what the heck. Like you say, it's just polish and can come off. I think the blush is light compared to the other more saturated colors, but it's fun. And when I look down at my toes, it makes me smile

Mo, I love that!! Very fun but the colors are sophisticated so it doesn't look childish.

And speaking of childish, I've been known to do rainbow toenails in the summer (ROYGBIV on different toes)!

Oooh I quite like that. I did blue polish last summer with one navy toe. Once when I was in my twenties I did multicolour pastels. It looked great. I was a bit ignorant about job interview attire and went to interview at a major corporation wearing sandals (bad enough) and my crazy (but cute) toes. I distinctly remember the hiring manager checking out my toes in the elevator after the interview. Amazingly - I still work there!

The wildest I've ever gotten was cobalt, and teal, not at the same time. These days, it's all classic reds. No surprises. Oh well.

That looks fun! I've never done multi colors across nails, but I often see french mani's with two colors that are not standard french colors (say pink with a yellow tip, that sort of thing).

I've gotten one multicolor pedicure before and a number of multicolor manicures. I love them - seeing the contrasting color out of the corner of my eyes always makes me grin! One of my favorites was getting french tips with the base in matte black and the tips in glossy black - subtle but fun! This thread is making me want to go paint my nails ...

Ooh, I'm totally going to try this next time I paint my toenails! I might even go really crazy - it's not like anyone but me and my husband is going to see them anyway!
