Pearly White boots..new to me brand

As it happened the day before Angie’s white boot post I had actually ordered the boots shown below.( find #1)I first saw a similar boot on Nordies site (find #2) but since I didn’t know anything about the brand, Schutz, was googling around to find some reviews and found this pair on Amazon. Besides being much less, I also liked that they had a matching instead of contrasting heel.
Overall I’m find the boots to be well made, the heel is a smidge higher than I’d like, but very comfortable as the pitch really good.
They are not white white, more like a pearl or creamy white, so I’ve shown them with a white sweater.
Overall I’d give them a 8.5. So I’m trying to decide if I keep looking for a 10-which I’m afraid would cost me twice as much, or do I say that an 8.5 is pretty darn good-and much more budget friendly. (finds 3 &4 where other boots s I was considering)

Love these - so elegant. They look so good in #2. Hang on to them for a bit and see if a ten shows up, but I think these are likely keepers. I agree that a matching heel color increases versatility - although white boot heel would not last long in my climate/environs. You might need Angie's superpowers

In my experience a '10' boot will be $500 and up. Schutz is a Brazilian brand, that is fashion-forward. I've never owned any, sorry I can't comment but if they fit well, that counts for a lot. They certainly hit all of the style points.

I've heard good things about Schutz. I want white/off-white boots to have a contrasting heel, and/but I know that's a purely personal thing - so they are my favourites here. Heels get so easily banged up and marked ....I'd be petrified to wear boots with a white leather heel.

I think it depends -

1) Are you someone who is a perfectionist who will keep looking for the 10s - if so wait?

2) If these scratch the itch and you will wear these and be happy I would go for it. 8.5/10 is pretty good.

I adopt approach 2 (satisficer mostly rather than a maximiser) - but I don't buy placeholders unless they are second hand.

I like them - really like the heel height and shape, but do agree heels are the area that show wear on boots....my brown suede covered heels are showing wear and I am considering reheeling in a stacked wood style.

I think they are beautiful on you. I especially like them with the white sweater and jeans, but I also really like how you're wearing your jeans rolled to show a lot of the boot in the first picture. Are they an 8.5 because they're not white-white and because of the heel height? Are those things that would keep you from wearing them? If so, and 8.5 might not be good enough. If not, I'd say keep, because there is value in trying a trend with less expense, as you point out.

I like them.They are a very elegant shape.As shevia says ,comfort would be my ultimate deciding factor.

They look great on your foot, so as long as they are comfortable enough that you will wear them, I vote keep. I bought some white boots 2 - 3 years ago and was not sure whether I would wear them. They are complete workhorses and give a bit of a modern edge to outfits. I don't think you have to worry about whether they are off white or white, they are a good light colour and have a nice impact when worn with white.

I really like them, the best of your 4 Finds. Love the sole colour. They look great on you. I couldn't wear that heel height comfortably I think.
I'm trying to only keep 10s as I have so many shoes. My last purchase of boots on 1 April were definitely a 10 as have had 72 wears since

hmmm...interesting call out re the covered heel, i actaully didn't think of that, but i generally haven't had a issue with covered heels, and since i commute by car, if the weathers really bad, i will wear outside boots and change at work....
if the heel on these where a 1/2 an inch or so shorter these would be a solid 9, if they were white white a solid 9.5....but as the color did not strike any one, so far, as "off", i'm feeling better about the color...i'll wear them around the house for the next couple of days and make sure the heel is more than 5 minutes "doable"...

I’m a huge fan of Schutz. I own... I don’t know, five or six pairs of their pumps, some sandals, and a pair of boots that have just gotten better with age. Most of these shoes are 2-4 years old and still in great shape.

Schutz is part of Alexandre Birman, which is very high end.

I think your pearl boots look really sharp - BUT - I don’t know how hanging onto something and not wearing it, while your search for a 10, would work out. It means you’ve tied up money in a potential orphan, and you’re missing all the fun of white booties. I’d say give it one week, and if you don’t find your 10s, commit to wearing these, or commit to returning them and continuing your search. Don’t keep a $300 orphan in your closet.

They look great! Are they 8.5 due to comfort or color? I think the color looks good. I like the look of a contrasting heel, though. I think they’re more durable, for me anyway, because I’m hard on shoes. I’m also price conscious. I have found perfect shoes but then looked at the price and said forget it. But comfort trumps everything.

They are really good looking! Besides the physical comfort, how do you feel wearing them? Do they bring you joy?

I should have added that at the time I bought these, my size was 50% off on amazon, so not cheap, but not super expensive, for m, anyway.

LBD...thank you for your endorsement of this brand. I had never heard of them before, and don't remember seeing anyone on the forum talking about them...so its really good to hear that they have longevity

I do find them comfortable, just not sure I could walk for miles...but comfortable enough for a day of work and errands. I was concerned about the white not being white enough, but looking back at the outfit pictures its really not that obvious....
