I saw that on the other thread and thought it was fabulous. The link said it was sold out, so I forgot about it. It's definitely maximal. The overall size does give me pause.

That's a gorgeous necklace at a great price! Do you know what you would wear it with? I find thinking of outfits, the same way I do with clothing purchases, helps to think analytically about jewelry. I have a definite magpie instinct and have a tendency to just go "ooh, pretty" without thinking through when I will actually wear the piece.

It reminds me just a bit of Tilda Swinton in the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Fierce and pretty in a good way.

That's amazing, seriously amazing. But I wonder how often you'll get to wear it. A bit much for work. Though at 40% off it's a good price.

i usually go to 2-3 black tie dinners where i purposely do cocktail with serious bling. if i wear it to all three dinners, cost per wear is now in double digits--and it would be a signature piece by the second wear. add in new years eve and i'm losing money by not getting it.
