PDX Thrifting Advice?

My sister is coming to visit in a few weeks (so excited) and I was thinking it would be fun to do some thrifting together. She has a great eye for bargains - it's like discount kharma :-).

I haven't done much thrifting since I moved to Portland Oregon. Does anyone have recommendations for their favorite thrift or consignment stores? There's a plus size resale shop I definitely want to check out, but other than that I'm looking for any tried and true rec's. Thanks!

Savvy Plus on SE Hawthorne is the plus size resale I'm thinking of - they go up from 12s and she has shoes as well. Super friendly owner.

Silver Lining is my favorite consignment store, down in Sellwood. Maybe it's my favorite because I get there rarely, so it's a treat. Coco Gets Dressed is a boutique across the street and it is the opposite of thrifting but it has so much personality I like to go in there too.

Seams to Fit on NW Raleigh - if you want to go where rich people consign their stuff. This is also not thrifting, but it is beautiful slightly used designer stuff. Sticker shock for used clothes, but I have found several things I love here.

I don't know Portland but some general thrifting advice is to go to the thrift stores in the best areas because they tend to have the best stuff. Goodwills sometimes have discounts and tag sales and senior discounts (but you probably need to ask). Savers seem the best organized, at least in this area. Shops that benefit Hospice or cancer organizations often have really nice things, especially vintage. Your sister might like to go to estate sales and garage sales too.
