Please ignore mess in background -- I pulled out my summer tops to review and edit. And messy hair and no makeup.
First pic: I'm pretty certain I'm keeping these. Love the skirt! For anyone wondering about sizing, I ordered a M and L and didn't even open the L. The M fits well. It's stretchy and fits close but is not too clingy -- no VPL. It has a lining which really helps too. I think this will be a summer workhorse for me!
I am also really liking the PG sandals. I have to say these would win out over the PG sneakers I posted in my other thread. Very comfortable and they seem to go with everything.
Also showing some chinos from Anthro. I tried these in a couple of colors, including a peach that I really like, even though it's a bit more out of my comfort zone. The blue color is such a neutral for me that it's a no-brainer for my wardrobe. I like the idea of the peach to wear with neutral tops and maybe a couple of printed tops I have, but the styling of those would be limited. I also tried the mint green crops (a slightly different cut), and those were the SA's favorites, but I'm unsure. No option to roll the hem on those, so I'd be stuck with just that length.
I do have mint green shorts (same cut as the chinos) that I wore a lot last summer. If I find that I'm not reaching for these longer chinos because they're too warm, I can always hack them off into clamdiggers or shorts.
What do you think? I am quite set on tops for summer but could use some refreshers for the bottom half. Everything I currently own for summer for my bottom half is neutral, black, blue, or white, with the exception of the aforementioned mint shorts. Part of me craves a little something different.
