It's not been the best news weekend for Canadians, but in an effort to cheer myself up, I decided to do a little try-on session with 2 new items I bought recently. Much consideration was given on whether to purchase them or not.
Some of my criteria included:

  • Must suit my new 3 word style descriptor of Chic, French, Charm
  • Mix and match with my current wardrobe
  • Fit with my casual lifestyle
Item 1) ON grey wide-leg jeans. I wanted to add a different colour wide-leg jean to my wardrobe. The rise is just slightly high waisted, pant width isn't extreme. They feel very comfortable to wear.

Item 2) Columbia fleece half-zip top. I had my doubts about the pattern at first. It seemed rather busy to me, but I was surprised on how it looked after I tried it on.

Photo 2) Adding my black down vest
Photo 3) Pattern Top with my Gap burgundy cords
Photo 4) Adding my black down vest again
Photo 5) Trying my Frank and Oak black speckle cardigan.
Photo 6) Close-up of the texture of black cardigan

I hardly wear much pattern in winter, but adding this top, with its little hits of pink, seems a nice, cozy pattern to brighten my winter wardrobe.

Any thoughts or suggestions are most welcomed.
