Even though I bought a dress that I think I will wear for my niece’s wedding this summer, I am continuing to keep my eyes peeled for other options, just in case something else would appeal to me more, and not require a new shoe purchase (the dress I bought does require new shoes, since it doesn’t really look good with my only suitably dressy shoes, the Rockstuds).
I was killing time at the mall today waiting for my car to be cleaned, and I spotted this one in WH/BM, so I decided to try it on. Oddly enough, I think I would need it in a petite to shorten the torso a little bit, but petites are only available online (how weird to be 5’7” and need a petite). I really like the floral print, and the fit is not bad (I’m aiming to lose some weight before then which would help the fit too). But when I looked at the rear view, I did not like the way they pieced together the pattern, so that two big flowers sit side-by-side on my behind. The only other dress in my size had the same issue, not quite as bad as this one, but distracting nonetheless. So annoying.
