Particular Shade of Blue

I'm looking for a particular shade of blue for a short sleeve buttoned mens shirt. After doing a fair amount of searching I found it at Lacoste:

It's listed as Reef Green color. However I would prefer not spending 135 dollars on a short sleeved buttoned shirt. Anyone know of another short sleeved buttoned shirt with a similar shade of blue? Thanks.

Hmm funny that it’s called reef green. I would most definitely call this aqua..... maybe if you just google aqua men’s shirts.... bright aqua to be more specific.

I agree with Jussie that "bright aqua" would describe the color quite well.

Tommy Bahama has a few styles available in colors from the same family (maybe greener) :
- Photo 1 is the St. Lucia Fronds Camp Shirt in a color called "Castaway Green" (with a nice palm texture)
- Photos 2 to 4 are the Royal Bermuda IslandZone® Camp Shirt in in colors "Castaway Green", "Iced Aqua" and "Riviera Azure".
They are not much less expensive than the Lacoste, but styles in similar colors may be available in outlets.

Does Lacoste run sales relatively regularly? Or are they too high end to bother trying to lower prices for specific time periods?

That's such a gorgeous color. JCrew was doing shirts in that a few years ago but I don't see it on their website now. Good luck!

I've found that most shades of blue for short sleeve buttoned shirts are usually too dull (with the occasional overly bright shade too).

Lacoste has some items for sale now. I'm surprised this shirt isn't included since it's out of season.
