So, I was going to post a question about just how partial/semi tucking works, then...I had a too-large,shapeless shirt that I really wanted to wear - so I got creative.
It's a light cotton shirt, so perfect for the hot, hot weather we've been having here in Seattle. It's also dark blue, which is a lovely colour on me, so I'm told. We were heading out for a late morning walk, and I wanted to be comfortable, but put-together (yall are rubbing off on me). So, I put it on with a pair of skinny jeans, and tucked about half a fingerlength of fabric into the waist band at each hipbone. A boxy, round-necked, round-hemmed, mid-thigh length top turned into one with a wide u-neck and asymmetrical hem and was still loose enough to be cool and blousy enough to flatter my apple body. I've no idea whether it actually *looked* better, but it felt as if it did.
I'm also pretty sure this isn't what's meant by partial tucking, but who knows? I'm guessing partial tucking usually reveals the waist-band a little bit?
Fill me in?
