Part 1 of US order in... butt check needed!

My Dre's and EF sweater arrived today... and I'm off work, so that was really fun, actually getting to answer the door and try things on right away.

Love love the EF sweater... beautiful fabric and drape.

And I love the Dre's... from the front. They fit well, feel good, and I love the length, will give my lots of versatility for different footwear in different seasons, depending on how much they are rolled.

Given the post by "Like the Season" on the pocket placement on the Dre's, I'm feeling paranoid. So... "do these jeans make my butt look fat (or other horrors)?". And... "Do I care?" The reality is that I'm likely to only wear them with tops that cover my butt, as that's my general cooler weather preference, but it would be good to know if I should keep that in mind or not when getting dressed.

Elizabeth - they look good to me too. Super on and fantastic from the front. I think, it's small pockets, that can sometimes look disproportionate. These look fine. Great sweater!! Great haul!! Congrats!

The pocket placement does look a touch wide but I think your tushie looks fine.

I think the front view is great and the back view is perfectly fine. Personally, I try to just avoid looking at my butt in the mirror. Problem solved.

(But really, you have nothing to worry about here.)

I agree that they are a touch widely spaced, but hey, if you are fitting into a 28, your butt can't be very big I have this same issue with many jeans, and feel that they make my back end look squarer than it needs to. They fit really well otherwise and if you rarely wear tops that don't cover...then don't worry about it.

Very hard to get a perfect placement, btw. Mine are always too low.

What Angie and everyone else says. The sweater and jeans both look great! The pockets are good. They don't go too low. I think they looked lower on Like The Seasons photo.

Wide pockets are bad on someone built like me — emphasizing the fact that I am wide in that area. But these are great on you.

Jenn, to be honest, I don`t generally go around taking photos of my behind view, just got a bit worried about these ones with the "chatter" about the pocket placement on these. They may not be perfect, but at least it doesn't sound like it's BAD.

I love it all. Those blues are glorious on you. And in order to preserve my own illusions when wearing the Dre’s, I follow Jenn’s rule.

Elizabeth, the second order arrived! The first one -- the purchase I made on the second day of the sale, in store -- is still in a shipping limbo. I'm going to double check my billing statement to see if they charged me for that sweater and cancel the order. I'm glad I jumped back online and bought the S when they restocked, thanks to you!

Looks good! I have two pairs of the colored Dre’s from previous NAS and the pockets are not optimal on me but I never tuck so i don’t care. And I’d much rather have too-large pockets than too-small pockets on my butt LOL.

The pockets are a bit wide for my personal preference, but that doesn't mean they look bad on you. They look good on you!
