Hi everyone
I finally found a parka that I am happy with. It is not black but it is longer and fitted as well. It is waterproof, windproof and down filled. It has a removable hood as well as the fur on collar is removable (not real) and has storm cuffs.
It is a Mckinley and much different than the first one I looked at.
Purchasing a parka was never about the price as much as it was - how does it feel on, how does it look?
The one I got is a dusty olive colour and oddly enough becoming on me as well. I promise I will post pictures with it on later.
Without further adieu, the first picture is the parka in black and then one in the colour I purchased it in.
Adding a pair of mitts I want to get later unless I get ambitious and make them. I have a winter hat in the burnt orange colour (paprika) that I just made recently that will match the mittens.
