Paris soldes: recommendations?

I'm in Paris through this weekend (and in Aix thereafter) and I am super excited for the soldes starting tomorrow! However, it's my first time ever in Europe and I'm not at all familiar with the stores here. What are the must-visit places in the centre-ville of Paris? My hotel is in the 6th near Saint-Germain des Près, and I'm heading to the Champs-Élysées tomorrow morning with a group of friends. But I also have an unlimited metro pass and am willing to travel to find some hidden gems. Merci pour vos conseils!

I would recommend:
Monmartre ( MUST!)- There is a little store that sells the most amazing scarves right by the cable car entrance.
Versailles - You can go in with the metro pass. You can stay in the town. There is little stores.
Go by latin quarters. You are right there. Lots of things to do.
Other than that, I recommend the usual: Notredame, Eiffel tower ( go up -it's fun). I would also go to Printemps and Moulin Rouge - The show is worth it. It is topless just an FYI, if you did not know.

Mariage frères for tea. Here's the yelp link: http://www.yelp.com/biz/mariage-frères-paris-9. I love love love Vanille Des Îles, a smooth scented black tea. You can go for tea/brunch or just browse the shop and pick up a gorgeous tin of tea (great for bringing home as gifts).

Galeries Lafayette because it is a legendary department store with gorgeous goods and amazing architecture. I bought a jacquard tablecloth there that we've used for 12 years and is still going strong. They have a great selection of tea towels (again, as gifts or an everyday luxury) and they also have a wonderful shoe selection.

Ah, I just had dessert in the salon du thé at Ladurée today! No macarons though because I was stuffed after the Saint-Honoré pastry (absolutely amazing). I took a card and definitely plan to go back to buy a box of macarons before I leave.
