Not so much when I sit down, but lots of the time otherwise. I think I have finally figured out what the issue is for me: to get pants with enough room for my thighs, I almost always end up with too much rise for my shoulder-to-knee length, and the waist is ALWAYS too big. Even in petites. Sometimes mid or lowish rise pants have less of an issue but it's totally unpredictable even within the same brand. I end up doing alterations, always take in the waist, and occasionally take in the seam at the bottom of the yoke on jeans or the inseam to make them fit better. Belts might help but I don't find them all that comfortable and I don't like the look on me. I get tired of it all so sometimes with junk pants (like old ones for gardening or housecleaning) I just live with less than perfect and end up "hitching up" my pants a lot as if I'm channeling Walter Brennan in some old cowboy movie. Like Laura1975, making myself sound SOOO attractive
So I guess for some of us that constant adjusting is just a fact of life, Stephanie.
