Thanks for the feedback. It looks like the linen pants need to get returned or re-tried in a smaller size. (Honestly, I’m not sure if I will do either because I’m not sure they are going to be any more flattering.) I’m going to try the RS on again but I think the smaller size will stay. The larger size is too big in the waist (usually never a problem for me) and I want these as a skinny jean alternative. Still not 100% sure about the baggy jeans. The SBF is in the lead but there are a few fans of the original too. I will have to try styling them and see if that makes a difference. Thanks again for helping me out!
@lyn: Lol! thanks.
@DayVies: Thank you. It’s great to have a variety of opinions--I love your tailored style. Thanks for the input! I think you are right about sizing down in the linen and I hear you on the distressing.
@Ornelia: Thanks! Yes, YLF is always a relaxing treat.
@Jjsloane: Thank you. I will have to see if I can pull the Original fit down a little lower. They are definitely more fitted in the waist. Like the SBF, I can get them on and off without unbuttoning but the Originals require a tug--the SBF just fall off Lol re: the linen pants. Ya, I’m not 100% sold on them either. PT is progressing but it is a slog, I tell ya. My Dr keeps reminding me this is a 6-12 month recovery but I can’t help to want it faster! Arggh!
@Mona: Thanks! I tried the RS after Makrame posted about them. I quite like them as a not so skinny skinny pant!
@Suz: Thanks, Suz. I studied your posts on the Original fit jeans before I ordered these. Thanks so much for your fit pics--they were super helpful. I’m so grateful when forum members leave their photos up!
@amiable and cobaltblue: Thanks!
@Makrame: Thank you for posting about the RS on sale. I swooped
