I'm packing for two weeks in Japan and could use feedback. I'm leaving in a week, so I'm planning for temperatures around the 70s during the day, with occasional hotter or cooler days, and rain. I'll mostly be sightseeing during the day, and only need one dressier outfit. Trying to pack as lightly as possible, and planning on doing laundry a few times.
My questions are:
1) Do I need more tops (tees and shirts)? If so, should they be tank tops or short-sleeved tops?
2) Will sweaters suffice? I do not own a good summer-weight topper. I am bringing a packable rain coat but it can't double as a windbreaker or jacket, as it's very obviously a rain coat.
The list of what I'm planning (in picture below):
1 pair of waterproof sneakers
1 pair of dressier pointy-toed flats for special occasions
1 pair of comfy Born loafer-ish flats
2 cardigans (1 cotton, 1 wool blend)
1 medium-weight cotton sweater (mustard)
1 warmer cotton sweater (striped, blue and navy)
2 short-sleeve tees (1 white, 1 embroidered pink)
1 3/4 sleeve tee (dusty rose)
2 tank tops (1 black with a high neck, 1 pink)
1 full-length pair of navy skinny pants (Old Navy Pixie)
1 ankle-length pair of ochre linen pants
1 black jersey midi skirt
1 printed dress for special occasions
