These older DSquared2 pewter oxfords (comfortable, a little scuffed, still nice) up against these new mirror finish Prada knockoffs (cool color, platform/creeper style, but a little stiff and white soles). Return the new or different enough?

Oh lisap - my hubby won't let me get another kitty either.

Una - I prefer the darker pewter ones but I agree with others that they're different enough that I don't think you'll be splitting wears if you keep the new ones.

The solution is obvious. Wear one shoe with one kitten, and the other shoe with the other kitten. They appear to have decided preferences themselves, so just go with that. (I'm a keep.)

I really like the new ones, even better than the old ones. (And you know I love me an old-school pewter oxford!) I'd keep both, and see if you still reach for the old ones at all. It will be interesting to see, no?

That's a keep from me. They are different enough--the Pradabes (love Lisa's term for those too!) look more summery, th DSquared will work well for Fall.

You should rename your kitties Yay and Nay: I can see why you turned to us to break their tie. Words can't express how adorable they are. They must be so glad you're home.

How am I to concentrate on the serious issue of choosing oxfords with adorable kitties among the way?
Anyway, I think the Pradabes (great name) are good if your wardrobe looks like Angie's : lots of white, in particular.

I still call the dog we rescued 6years ago when she was 5 months old the puppy, and Hedev has always called the boy we got at 2years old man because he had a little white on his muzzle. He has a little more now.

I'm betting that those two pairs of shoes will serve to finish different outfits. Have you tried them on with various pants, etc.? I feel like the white soles on the Pradabes (ha!) will open up the opportunity to tie in touches of white in your outfits better.

Oh Lisa, we have just the opposite here. Every time I turn around, it seems my husband gets another dog, and I'm like "enough!" But then I love them.

Shiny is S/S and the pewter is F/W. But then I'm biased. I have the shiny K-Swiss ones below, and plan to order the gold ones this week or next week, umm, because my magpie eye says they are nominally different and Nordies is giving me a Personal 10 Points Day.

Hmmm, I don't wear a lot of white... I may need to experiment with what is in my closet. But glad they are different enough to keep the second pair if they work!

The kitties are Lani (sky) and Hoku (star) - Hawaiian names, as is Kona. I'm glad you love them as much as we do. They have totally different purrsonalities despite being sisters. And surprisingly they don't purr yet, no matter how contented! They love Kona and get along well with our older cat, Sera.

Maneera, you must meet a kitten! They are different than dogs but just as enchanting.
