Thanks all! I'm definitely leaning towards return now, though may try the XS just in case.
Reasons:
It's 2 shifts away from my usual- the buttons and the dropped shoulder. Future purchases should be just 1 shift away.
It would probably take a long time to reach 30 wears, as it would be just transitional weather wear for me. We just don't have that much transitional weather.
It's not worth the hours of work I suffered for it. Frankly- that needs to be my main benchmark for Any purchase.
I liked how it looked on the model, but she had it tucked. I have a good 6+ inches of hips on her, and don't tuck, especially into pants. Even sized down I wouldn't get that vibe.
I already have other tops in my closet that I'd reach for more. The beige sweater hasn't even been worn yet, but it will work for colder days. Also- no fussing with buttons and no dropped shoulders. Admittedly the pants grinning through isn't great so will need a cami under.
The print top has buttons as a feature but they're sewn together, so again less fussy. The shape and length work much better on me than the beige blouse.
I'm moving towards preferring classic length/fit tops as opposed to tunics, and wanting to shift my pants to wider styles. I'm also moving towards fitted jackets as opposed to the loose cardis that work best with the blouse.
