Outfit to be sworn in tomorrow!

Last month I passed my citizenship interview & tomorrow I get sworn in. The letter says proper attire for a solemn & meaningful event. It doesn't have to be red, white & blue but I like the idea.

1 ink blue, white & red.

2 just red & white unless I exchange this bag for the blue one with studs. They didn't have without studs. Could be too much with this dress.

Also if red & white dress should I get the blue bag? I haven't found a blue bag I like, though I only went to Nordies yesterday as I have a lot going on.

Elle, I'm going with the skirt outfit because I absolutely love the elegant silhouette on you (the skirt has a bit of retro vibe to it, but the outfit is very modern with the beautiful striped top and on trend shoes). And big congratulations! What a special occasion!

Congratulations on your citizenship! You can't go wrong with either of these, but I like the dress. I think the red bag is fine with it, as are the shoes. You look gorgeous.

If I choose the dress I can wear gold shoes & bag & return the red bag. I don't really "need" it. I would prefer a clutch if I had time to find. The shoes are light grey. Couldn't find red white or blue shoes that I was sure would be comfortable & they warn against uncomfortable shoes. There will be a lot of standing & walking.

The blue bag with studs is not something I thought I needed either.

Congratulations, Elle! As a fellow naturalized citizen I know how much studying and anxiety this whole process involves. Oh, I thought I was prepared for the ceremony and then I couldn't stop crying! Don't forget to take a hanky or some tissues along - the ceremony will be very moving. Where are you from, originally?

I love both outfits and prefer the first one. I hope you're celebrating afterwards.

Outlier here, Elle! Both outfits are gorgeous but a wrap dress is so celebratory and festive. The skirt outfit is stunning and should be worn often. Strangely, my first thought was, "how French!" I suggest wearing the red dress to the citizenship ceremony, and then wearing the skirt outfit in Paris!

P.S. Only buy a blue bag if you would wear it often!
