I wanted to try this yellow crossbody with my existing (non yellow) wardrobe. It was a flurry, so I didn’t bother with accessories. Some I like better than others, but it shows me I’ve got ample opportunities to wear this bag. Metallic shoes seem fine to me here, though others may disagree? I am also reassured I don’t need yellow shoes to make it work, although another pop of yellow would be nice. Bottom line - it’s a keep

Lots of great outfits! I recognize this bronze ecco sandals Ms Shoe Twin. For some reason I especially like 10 with the black (navy?) pattern mixing.

Looks like it will be easy to integrate! I especially like, at a glance, 3, 7, 10, 15. The yellow feels quite intentional in those black-white pattern mixes.

Thank you for the encouragement Kathie, BD and Runcarla. It’s interesting there’s a variety of favorite color combinations. It just shows how personal our favorite colors are.

Chris - I’ve really like those Ecco sandals. The color matches a lot. The outfit you’re referring to is black and cream.

Smittie - I really am done shopping, as my budget is spent. I like the fact that what I have can work.

LP - I will keep in mind that the prints seem to work well with it. I didn’t really think beyond the color, but I do love a print.

I have so much admiration for the fact that you actually DO what everyone says a person should do. You tried your purse with your wardrobe and it was a WIN. I love it. I love the shape, the size, and the color.

I am going to list my favorite outfits and then I am going to go back see if I can figure out if there is a common thread amongst my favorites.

Favorites: 1, 3, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15. I realized you look fabulous in these outfits because they fit you supremely well (all the lines and proportions are perfect). The purse was an extra bounce.

The bag works really well with your outfits. The print in 2 looks like it has some yellow. You really don't have to have any yellow for the bag to work.

Sterling - the up side of trying with my wardrobe is now I don’t have to figure it out the day I’m wearing something. I can feel good about having in my closet.

SF - yes, I pulled out top 2 because it has a little yellow in it. I thought it made the yellow in the handbag look almost lime in comparison.

I had never considered yellow to be a neutral, but I think it is too!!! It feels neutral-ish in your WIWs.

Once again, I really like the shape, size, and color. I cannot rationalize that size bag in my wardrobe right now. Otherwise, I would be buying it this minute. In yellow.

Sterling - I never would have purchased (ie didn’t need) except I had this top to exchange. TBH, I then exchanged for a dress with a pattern I didn’t care for IRL. So then I looked at something that wouldn’t need fitting, and decided it would be a nice addition.

AI - I can see why angie recommended. It is of nice quality.

The other thing to keep in mind is that it harmonizes with your hair. No, I'm not saying your hair is neon yellow! But the warm tones in your hair will work with this and add to cohesion.

Thanks Suz. It’s interesting because most of my life I exclusively wore silver jewelry. A few years ago I added gold, and I like how it works with my hair. I wasn’t worried you were saying I had neon hair.
