LJP - *high five for halter dress love* I enjoy this dress a lot too and have worn this outfit a couple of times already this season.
For outfit posts, I try to take WIW photos everyday when I have time. I've been pretty good about doing that over the past year. I don't know how long I'll be able to keep up the pace but I try. I have a larger sized wardrobe but the capsules are fairly cohesive, so it's pretty easy to have an outfit to post that's "new" to the forum. If you look at my outfits closely, you'll see I don't often change much for a "new" WIW outfit post.
When I do an outfit styling session I try to post those outfit under the "dressing" category. Such as this post. While I wore the halter dress with the ivory jacket a few times, I haven't worn the denim jacket version yet. Nor have I worn the faux wrap dress with the cardigan yet.
Dee - Yes, I am firmly back on team dress!
Jaime - I actually went back to the store to grab that dress because I kept thinking about it. And thrifted items never sit in the stores for very long.
Cookie - You make a great point about wrap dresses. They would certainly be malfunction prone. The faux style is much easier to wear!
Firecracker (Sharan) - I'm pleasantly surprised at how well the dresses paired with items already in my wardrobe (like accessories as you've mentioned). It's made incorproating dresses into my wardrobe very easy. And yes, the ivory jacket would go well wiht the faux wrap dress, thanks for the suggestion!
MsMary - Thanks for the kind words and for looking!
Ket - Congrats on swapping your wardrobe for the upcoming seasons. There's something refreshing about unpacking items that haven't been seen or worn in a few months. I enjoy swapping around my wardrobe. It's like getting new things (even though they aren't new). I look forward to your workshop post!
