Outfit lab: long tweed shorts (how to hem)

I have had these wool tweed shorts for a couple of years, and they have been sitting in my closet unworn, since they had a bug cuff right across the knee they made them look frumpy. I have been meaning to have them shortened for a while and never got to it. So ti is finally time to have them fixed.
I have undone the cuff which makes the hem look kind of off, and I need to take them to the tailor to have them hemmed properly. But now I am very unsure of the length. I have been attracted a lot lately to various longer shorts looks. I have pinned some looks (first row) and tried to recreate them in the second row below.
I have three options:
1. Leave them long, like in the outfits #6-#9. I could even let the hem out longer as there are 2' of extra material.
2. Hem them right above the knee, like in #10.
3. Hem them shorter, with a cuff, like in #11/12.
What do you recommend? All the suggestions on improvement of the outfits are welcome as well.

I like them best in #6. How far below the knee are they now? How much of the top of the boots do they cover? I'm thinking shorten a little bit, but not as much as in #10.

I like them longer as in 6-9. I think that given they are a fall or wintery look having them longer is more in keeping.

I like them more when they are covering the knee. Like in #4.

Easy in my eye ! I love the styling you did in pic 9 the best - shows both sporty luxe and an intentional wearing of a "new length" piece ....which could get lost in translation trying to dress them up. Does that make sense? I know what I mean, just can't quite articulate it today .

So I vote the length as you have them. Also love them with the red Munro booties (that's what they are, right?)

I vote let them out and wear them as culottes. Really on trend and I think you'll have fun with it.

I have poison eye for Bermudas so I don't like the middle length. I think the shorter style w/cuff is flattering but I'm not sure about whether or not the shorts with tights thing is passé yet.

Thank you very much ladies, really appreciate all the input. It looks that long is the preferred look, which is what i am leaning towards as well.
FYI, #6, 7,8 and 9 are all the same length, but they look longer in the #9 becasue it is a side shot, probably. So right now I am leaning towards letting them out an inch or so from that length to make sure the knee is completely covered.
