This is the Anthropologie "Bettina Tiered Shirt Dress by Maeve", in the colour Dark Orange. I ordered it after Angie made it a Fab Find - thanks for the recommendation!

It was delivered exactly on Eid day lol, so haven't had a chance to wear it out yet. I'm not entirely sure if it works on me though, so over to you lovely Fabbers What say ye of these looks?

CRITERIA:
I bought a Medium (true to size chart measurements) BUT in standard length (I'm just under 5ft4, so regular & petite). The sleeves are full-length on me, but the elastic stays if I push them up.
Do you think this hem length is awkward on me? I know it's hard to see with the volume & selfie angle, but it hits me 2-3 inches above the top of my ankle bone - does this work as is, without socks? Would you recommend adding socks or higher shaft booties? I don't like to show my legs (up to elbows & ankles is my MO) so if I got petite length, it would be worn with bottoms.

Also not sure if there's 'too much' white in the pattern? I look like death warmed up in pure white lol, so I thought the pattern mix of burgundy, orange & pink would help - does it? I have a summer dress in green with white polka dots that's a wardrobe workhorse, despite being the 'wrong' colour for my Deep Autumn season, so could you see this also working with my usual style/ colours?

I was drawn to this dress because of the natural fibres, deep pockets, buttoned placket & relaxed fit (for hot weather) but still with a hint of a waistline.
With this in mind, thank you for your constructive criticism - I'm open to hearing styling suggestions too!
