Getting back to the outfit creation challenge Brooklyn proposed a few weeks back. I haven't worn "real" clothes since about March 17, and since I was blessed with an extra day off this weekend, I decided it was time to play in my closet a bit.
I wanted to create a tunic over jeans outfit, but wasn't happy with any of the results, so nothing to share out of that. So, I turned to a few things I bought before the world ended and decided to play with those instead.
- black and white striped wide leg Zara pants (eek - they fit better when I bought them!)
- trusty Birk Arizonas
- brass-coloured lightweight knit top from H&M
- long, lightweight black cardi picked up at Winners
- tropical print scarf with black dots
- shell earrings of origin unknown. Never worn because I'm afraid to rip them out of my ears. But I still really like the idea of them, so I keep them.
For those who aren't fans of seasonal confusion -- apologies. It suits my mood today, given that spring simply can't seem to decide to arrive in my neck of the woods, despite what the calendar says. Anyway, thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions always welcome.
