Hi ladies, Yes Bijou and Fashiontern are on to it - I wouldn't want to HAVE to wear a second layer in our heat - so number one is out. I did like it in other respects. And number 2 didn't fit that well.
I decided I just had to decide today, because only a small subset of the available playsuits/jumpsuit appeal to me, and some of the ones I like seemed to be disappearing fast. So I went back to one I tried on a few weeks ago, which Angie liked the best, and which got fairly positive feedback from the forum. I didn't take a photo of that but I'll pull up the old one. I have lost a bit of weight since then so am more confident about wearing it too.
I was also keen to buy something soon as I see this as more a "pleasant summer" than "high summer" look, because it is fitted at the waist. Anywhere above around 32 C I just want loose unfitted clothes. So I want to get some wear in while I can, before it really heats up (and it is forecast to be a hot summer for us this time, after two comparatively cool ones.
