Out shopping earlier, help!?!?

Hey ladies
Hope everyone is having a good weekend .I.thought.I.would see.what yall think.of this silhouette.these are skinny.jeans and really quite comfy, but they are calf hugging. My question.is as an appley-rectangle, how do.these look??? I usually wear skinnies in boots, this is a little new for.me,.are they.too tapered??? The blouse I think.I .like nut I wonder about the .pants all suggestions welcom

Thumbs up! It takes a bit to get used to skinnys. You might try a bit longer top or see if you can pull that one down just to see if the proportion makes a difference.

The jeans look good to me. I'm a pear shape and my skinny jeans are tighter than these look. I still wear them with short and long tops. Why let them sit unworn in summer months right? I vote yay to these.

The jeans look fantastic. I think I would prefer a top that drapes more as I do think this accentuates the rectangle shape - but I don't see that as a bad thing - it just depends if you like and feel comfortable with the silhouette. You do look lovely.

The pants look lovely! I am new to wearing skinnies (just this week! and I need to try mine with flats). YOu look great!

I like the jeans and flats on you. They show off your slim legs, and the jeans look like a terrific fit. I like the jeans and flats with this top, too, which is lovely on you. I agree with Deborah that this look does tend to emphasize the rectangularity of your shape and I find it flattering. To de-emphasize the rectangle, you could wear a darker top, with some bright jewelry near your face.

I think you can definitely wear skinnies, but I would try them also with a little scrunch at the bottom or tucked into boots.

Ginny they look like a very good fit to me! (love the colour). It really depends how you feel in them. These tend to stretch so tighter is better than looser.

They look good to me. It does take getting used to this silhouette after years of being told we need straight or bootcuts to balance our apple tops.

Thanks ladies, I appreciate the input, it gives me a little more confidence to give them a try, I think Joy, Lisa and firecracker I like the idea of a longer top too. I normally gravitate to a darker top, but this pretty floral caught my eye.
@ Scarlet good idea I wil, try them in a snugger version, and I will look for a longer ones too, I think I would feel better with a little scrunch on the bottom.
Jsloane- you are so right I still here that in my head, you should be in bootcuts, but it is fun to try something new.
