Meet Brava! DOB: May 11, 2024

I'm obviously biased, however she is smart! She sleeps through the night. Housetraining is going well. She was very vocal the first few days, which was understandable after saying goodbye to her mom and auntie and their collective 16 pups, and moving to our house. Brava's not a rescue, which I am sure some will frown upon. She is an AKC registered poodle from a breeder who does not dock tails or remove dew claws. Her breeder was highly recommended by the owner of our school therapy dog and her temperament and physique should be well suited to dog sports, obedience and work as a service animal.

Brava picks up cues quickly, and she has tons cuddly puppy playfulness. We are working on socialization and training basic cues so she can be a good citizen in our home and in public. She already understands hotspots and has mastered sitting at threshold's. She is pretty good with "leave it/take it" when inside and needs to practice much more outside where there are distractions like pinecones, leaves and sticks.
