10 days of cabin life, fishing, easy kids friendly hiking, lean to + kids cabin building and quite ok weather was the best vacation ever. Expectations on weather were very low, so 12-15 degrees C (ca 50+F) and mostly dry weather was super. The boys were playing really well together, they are the best ever on long car rides (no need for electronic entertainment at all!), we got lots of trouts, amazing mountain views (as always ;-)), fresh air, marsmellows love and a good time with my parents (it’s their place with a main cabin + small cabin).

My minimal mountain capsule worked out well. I didn't wear everything, but that was due to weather circumstances. I've made some notes and will have to look at them later. http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....acking-etc

I wore mostly gear wear, light wool tank + wool sweater, and jeans when going to the village down in the valley + at amusement park, which all worked very well (especially the thin wool layers!). I figured out that I might need to upgrade my gear wardrobe because most of it is 10+ years, even an anorak from my grandmother (love the washed out red colour). To make the outfits more corporate, I thought it would help to stick to certain colours. I thought of purple, military / olive green, teal, deep orange and bright coral. These are all happy colours for me and I think they could work well together. And it is smart to have some signal colours in case of emergency (knock on wood).

Hope you enjoy the photos

PS Due to being very consciuous about family photos in public, I will remove many of them after a week or so

ETA: getting 3 boys to all look sane in the same pic is impossible! Out of 250 pics of them, I think only a small handful is fairly ok. lol
