Otk boots passé?

I got a pair of Stuart weitzman 50/50 otk boots from the real real.

Are these passé? I have many pairs of knee high boots with classic (not chunky) heel. I wanted flat tall boots to wear under my dresses.

Should I keep searching?

Suede over the knee boots are a classic style that can make your legs look like they're miles long. I think you made a very good choice with the Stuart Weitzman otk boots. IMHO, I avoid high heel leather otk boots because I feel as though I am veering into "Pretty Woman" territory.

Classic! Those boots are never passé.

I was kind of sad to let mine go, but they were at least a half size too big, and they were never actually OTK on me — they stopped right at the bottom of my knee, in a pretty unflattering spot. Knee fat is real. LOL

I also think suede OTK boots are classic, especially with low heels. I have been looking at Stuart Weitzman’s suede flat otk boots every winter for a few years now, admiring the style. But because I rarely wear skirt and dresses wintertime, I never bought them. They are so beautifully made.

@janet...I caught myself investigating knee liposuction.

Ok...I’m keeping! These are the regular leather version. I’m hard on my shoes and the suede will look ratty real fast.

bj- if it makes you feel better I just replaced my old SW Hammer (NAS long ago, but too wide and wrinkly in the leg for my taste, with the 50/50). I loved them so much I got the suede also (you have to love AmEx points) I think a flat, comfortable boot will always be a workhorse for me. I also have and love the SW mixitup suede knee high boot. I wear a lot of leggings and skinnies - this will always be "my" look. Because it's practical, elegant, flattering, and warm. They work with skirts, dresses - very versatile. Big thumbs up from me, but I am obsessed with these boots!!

I was definitely thinking more under fuller midi skirts and dresses, than over leggings.

ETA or channel Ariana Grande and do them with a giant sweatshirt and designer handbag

I have a pair of Blondo OTK boots that are about 2 years old . I wore a lot the first winter and not much last winter . I just passed them to my daughter who I think will enjoy them. I would've kept them if the fit was better on me, the stretch part on the back was too loose on my calves ( the story of my life with boots). I'm open to purchasing another pair if I can find the right fit and of course comfort level. The Stuart Weitzman ones fit me better but the price ................

I haven't seen a lot of them at retail this year, compared to last, but boot season is just starting! They look like they'd be warm! I would worry about the knees stretching out from walking though.

I was kind of wondering the same thing since knee boots have come back in style, but I'm also seeing them everywhere in the media (not so much where I live.)

I searched everywhere for a pair to fit my skinny legs and found a pair a few years ago.. I find them uncomfortable in the knee area...that's where my skinny jeans bug me too #sensitiveknees? lol.

But I did score some Sam Edelman knee boots (the perfect height right below my knee cap) in red mock crock last night at the Rack for $79. They have a pretty high heel but they're great sitting boots and I've been wanting to add a little red in my wardrobe. Oddly I can't find them online or I'd post a link.

I was really excited at first bc they were in a Stuart Weitzman box, but they're pretty comfy in spite of my feet really liking SW. (wallet does not, lol!)
