OTK Boots on Sale-Should I Get Them

I have been stalking these boots online for a while now:

They have good reviews and would replace two pairs of black boots that are currently in my wardrobe but are rapidly deteriorating (I wear one or the other pair at least 4 days a week, sometimes more). I would be able to get some use out of them this season for sure, but do you think the over the knee style will still be popular this fall and winter?

Try them. That's the first step.

I see no reason why the trend would come to a grinding halt 6 months from now.

That's a really cheap price for a pair of OTK boots, even if they are out of style in 6 months (unlikely) you still will get a decent amount of wear out of them in the remaining cool months of this year.

Do you have average calves? I noticed these have a 15" circumference, which is rather generous. You might want a tighter fit, especially since they have that elastic in the back.
Other than that. they look fab:)
I just bought myself a pair of OTK boots so I'm hoping they stay in style for a while.

I vote go for it, so long as you can return them if the fit's not right. It's a nice look, and I for one will be wearing my otks next fall winter (I will also still get a lot of wear out of them this season as we have at least 10 more weeks of wintry weather here).

I think the 15" measurement is a bit ambiguous. They might have measured the calf, they might have measured the part around your thigh.
