Modgrl, as far as OTK boots go, those ones are streamlined and lovely. If you have your heart set on OTK boots, I think they are a good choice. However, I don't know if they are currently in style or not. I never see them anymore, but I live in Vancouver BC, which is not exactly the fashion capital of the world.
A couple of things worth considering, though: they make everyone's legs look a bit stumpy. It's the Puss in Boots effect. I know currently the trend is for clothes that are "just flattering enough", so maybe that doesn't matter to you. The other thing is that they are universally disliked by men. Back five or six years ago when flat/low-heeled OTK boots were all the rage, I quizzed a whole bunch of male friends about them, and not one of them though they looked good. The general opinion was, "Why do women wear these? They look silly". This may not matter to you either -- heck, maybe it makes you want to wear them all the more! -- but it's worth mentioning.
