Other than fashion sneaks, what am I wearing?

I have a mental picture in my head as to what this overall look might be, but odds are that it's entirely mistaken. I was going for a trendily casual yet still feminine look, but if I may I will ask you guys to determine what the proper adjectives really are.

I've embraced fashion sneakers in this outfit. These are a version of the Ecco soft 7s in blush pink, and after a surprisingly lengthy breaking in period, they're becoming fabulously comfortable. I hoped that pairing these shoes with a blush satchel would help elevate the polish factor of an otherwise pretty casual getup. I suspect the two items are not the same shade of blush, so please tell me if they work together or not. For the rest, we have a simple pair of possibly oversized white cropped denim and a sea foam top in a linen-esque fabric with embroidery details that hopefully make it somewhat pretty.

So, ladies, please try and describe this outfit as best you can, even/especially if it's not flattering.

Michelle, the sneakers and bag look the same light shade of blush, very pretty and somewhat neutral. The sneakers have white soles that look great with your white cropped denim pants. They look good on you, not too oversized. The sea foam tee is lovely. I like the fit, not too tight or too loose, and color on you. It is a saturated color, not a pastel. This is a great summer casual outfit, trendy and feminine as you thought. Your necklace is a good length for the neckline of the top.

I think Joy has described the outfit well. The blush pink accessories match each other very nicely and tone in with the blue and white well. I think you could wear many colour tops with the bag and shoes - blush is surprisingly versatile.

Thanks guys. I'd like to know, I guess, if there's anything I can do to take this look to a killer one. Do the fit of the jeans look right? Is anything off about any of the accessories? Is it the top?
Joy: I was hoping the sneaks could serve as neutrals. You said they are somewhat so. In what colour contexts would they not work?

Michelle I think the sneaks are neutrals - would work with black, white, olive green, navy, tomato/warm red, most blues...

I think the top is a perfect fit. I think the jeans might be slightly too loose at the front and maybe too tight/bunchy on the calf. It could be the photo - this is a problem I have where pants often "grab" on my calf muscle rather than flow.

I don't think it's the pic. They felt exactly that way all day, and I kept hoping it woudl give some at the calves. But my calves are so absolutely immense that even crop flares tend to fit like skinnies. It's profoundly annoying and frustrating and even dispiriting.

I think the sneaks would work with any color, as Sal has said. I can't think of a color that they and your bag would not look fine with. They will look more spring/ summer than fall/winter, although they could be great with navy, black, grey, brown, olive, orange, and other traditional fall colors.
I see what Sal means about the fit of the crops, but it doesn't look off even if it may feel that way. Maybe others can tell you what to look for.

You look lovely. Joy did a wonderful job of describing your outfit. I did not notice the fit of your pants. Are they uncomfortable? Your colour palette is very fresh looking.

As others have mentioned, the shoes and bag go very well. I like this paired with the top; the top reads as a little boho to me, as it's loose, linen-looking and embroidered (tonally, it looks like?). I like the top a lot and think it works as both trendy and feminine. I pause at the jeans. They are fine. But I think you can do better, fit wise. regular blue would be lovely with this top/shoes/bag combo as well. So glad you are back on the forum, by the way!

In a sea of concrete you stand out as a fresh breeze of summer in a light blue gauzy looking top and white capris. The gold necklace is a great touch and makes the look more urban along with the very structured bag, which matches the pink sneakers. Your hair is neat and smooth and matches your furry and faithful companion.

Michelle, I love the sneakers and bag together. They look like a good match, as others have noted, and they are a very pale flesh pink, more pink than your skin tone, but in the same family, so they work as a nude for you. So I would say anything that you can wear, they will go with, color-wise! They are in the same family as the rose gold you like to wear, too.
I like the outfit as it is, and it looks current and very pretty on you. I agree with Jenava that you could do better with the jeans; I noticed the loose fit across the hip area and tight fit at the calves. I think if you want to stay with the looser fit at the top, I would prefer the look of a boyfriend jean that is a little longer, less fitted in the lower leg, and rolled up at the hem. That style would be super cute with the sneakers and the casual top. If I recall correctly, you may have some boyfriend jeans already, and as Jenava said, a blue denim would substitute just fine with this outfit. I wonder whether you could shorten this pair to knee-length cut-offs? They could work nicely as boyfriend style cutoff shorts then.

I am late but I want to say that I like a lot this outfit and the colour combination. The color of the blouse is very flattering on you. Bag and shoes go perfectly together. As per the pants I see some fit problems but I like them because they are white!

Hi Michelle! The top is a lovely and flattering color, clear, cool and saturated, I would call it aqua. The top fits very well, with some ease, but a good shoulder seam that adds a bit of structure and polish to the look. The white pants aren't too big, but I see the fit issue in the calf. It's not you, Michelle. It's the clothes! I've had issues with too tight calves and even snug knees in pants this year, and I've never struggled with this before. Even straight cut pants are skinnies at the moment! The calf fit issue is the sort of thing only your YLF friends would note because we're always on the hunt for the perfect fit! Please wear this outfit often, knowing you've created a great casual, cool look for summer! Your blush accessories are harmonizing with one another beautifully and are really flattering. I think you'd do well with a blush sandal and/or pump, too!

I don't think the fit "problem" on the pants is a train smash. Michelle said they are roomy, and she runs very hot. These are comfy, and she's been wearing them all day. My thumbs are up.
